Lauren is currently performing in London's West End.

 

She started taking ballet class at her local dance school 'Julie Sianne Theatre Arts' at 3 years of age, which quickly lead her to Modern; Jazz; Tap; Singing and Acting classes too. Being a determined child who loved performing she worked hard winning numerous medals and trophies at All England Final competitions and also won the prestigous national competitons 'Janet Cram Awards' and 'Marjorie Davies Star Tap Awards' in London.

 

At 16 years of age Lauren gained a scholarship to one the the countries leading Musical Theatre Collages 'Laine Theatre Arts'. While at Laine Lauren won their in house Prelim Competitions twice and was named 'Up and coming student' by top West End Casting Director David Grindrod. Graduating Laine Theatre Arts she was awarded a National Diploma in Musical Theatre.

Lauren feels being the principal of the school yet still in West End it is a fantastic way to bring what is currently happening in the entertainment industry to the school. She knows that working along side some of theatre's most prestigeous Actors, Singers, Dancers, Directors and Choreographers she will always have the pick of the best teachers to come and do guest teaching and also to join her in the Easter schools; Summer schools and Christmas schools she intends to provide for the students.

 

Lauren has been teaching since the age of 14 where she was a teaching assistant at her dance school. She has also taught at numerous dance school's around the country doing guest teaching. This experience has taught Lauren a lot and she knows each child will require slightly different teaching techniques which makes her lessons that much more enjoyable.

 

Lauren's aim is to nurture each and every child she teaches and bring out their personalities and confidence within the arts, which she knows will help in everyday life too.

 

Lauren is currently starring in the Chuckles of Oz playing Dorothy with her dog Ralph appearing as Toto at the Darlington Civic Theatre.

Jane is a highly sought after performer and teacher.

 

Since Graduating from Laine Theatre Arts Jane has had an exceptional career some could only dream of. She has become assistant to some of the largest choreographers in the  business such as Stephen Mear; Peter Darling; Karen Bruce & Jerry Mitchel to name a few.

Rachael has also appeared on the Al Murray Show, took part in the 2008 Olympic handover ceremony and recently appeared in Rock of Ages for their performance at West End Live.

 

Teaching:  Rachael graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance gaining a Distinction for The Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma and has taught at The Urdang Academy, The MTA, Bodyworks, The Ballet School, Perform, Stagecoach, Pineapple School of Performing Arts and many other schools.

Hannah Varnham - Teacher

Hannah trained at Laine Theatre Arts where she gained a scholarship and after the 3 years training was awarded a National Diploma in Musical Theatre.

 

Hannah has vast experience as a teacher and working with children. She trained from 3 years of age at Julie Sianne Theatre Arts and also taught there as a teacher from the age of 15 firstly as a teaching assistant but then proceeded to go on to be a Jazz teacher for the school. She also teaches at Dance Shack as their resident tap and Musical Theatre teacher.

Matt Elson- Talent Agent & Guest Teacher

Matt originates from the Midlands and has enjoyed a varied career both on and off the stage in Theatre, Cabaret and Television.

 

He worked closely with renowned vocal supervisor Mary Hammond, going on to work as an assistant vocal fixer and agent for Capital Voices and also BBA Management in the heart of the West End.

 

Matt has been a visiting acting, dance and singing lecturer at The Royal Academy of Dance, The Royal Academy of Music and The Royal Welsh Academy of Music and Drama and Spotlight. He was recently invited to be on the panel for The Pauline Quirke Academy Agency and Staveley Productions.

 

Matt joined the team at Kerry Foley Management in 2014, supporting the personal managment of a selective list of actors and creative's, working across the genres. Matt is also a talent scout for Britain's Got Talent.

 

He is also the director of his own company 'The Matt Elson Singer's' a fresh database of young, vibrant professional singers, presenters, dancers and skin characters for todays fast paced music, corporate and TV industries.

Matt is extremely excited to be a part of Lauren Varnham Performing Arts as their talent agent giving the children who would like to try being on stage or screen an opportunity if it arises. He will be keeping an eye out for auditions for any local shows wanting children but also the big shows in the West End too.

 

Scott Morgan- Vocal Coach/MD/Composer

As a composer Scott has written the Musical 'GEEK' which premiered in London to sold out audiences in 2013. 'GEEK" is returning to London and opening in New York in 2015.

His new show 'Strange people' is currently in Workshops and is due to open early 2015, in London.

 

As an MD/Pianist and arranger, Scott has worked with 'The Rock Chicks', a vocal group formed of the West End's leading ladies. He has been MD for West End Fest in Covent Garden since it started and the musicals Rent, High Society and Fiddler on the Roof as well as several YMT projects.

 

Scott also worked with Lauren Varnham on her debut album 'Astonishing' in 2013, playing piano on the tracks and collaborating on several arrangement with Lauren.

 

As a vocal coach, Scott has worked at various theatre schools including teaching BTec courses in Musical Theatre at Ridley Studio School. He has also been resident MD/Arranger at the established part time stage school, Theatre Fun in Colchester.

Scott has also been tutor for award winning choir 'Funky Voices' for the past 3 years.

 

In Februay Scott is launching his own company 'Make a Noise Productions' which will specialise in licensing his catalogue of School-Musicals and aim to promote and produce high quality theatre productions in London.

 

Scott cannot wait to add LVPA to his ever growing CV as he has a real passion for teaching and discovering new talent.

Stacey began professionally acting from a young age with her first West End role ages 9 in Oliver (London Palladium) - West End, she was then privilaged to be asked back again ages 11 and 13 when she performed in Hey Mr Priducer for Cameron Mackintosh' birthday (Lycium Theatre).

 

She went on to train with the National Youth Theatre and The London School of Musical Theatre and has been working prosffessionally ever since.
